In order to receive the service
you need to send in the word MEDIA
to 80996 = £1.50 to receive 100 credits

If you lose your password text FORGOT to 80996. Standard operator sms costs apply.

Once your message has been received by Mdeck we will send you back an sms which looks like the following:

Welcome to mDECK Portal . Your link is: http://wap.mdeckport.net/wap_login/PH278XXXXXXXX Please remember your password: 0000 !!

You then need to click on the link and enter the service and should see the following screen

(your cell phone number will appear in the top box, enter your password you received in your message and select the login button. If you have a Motorola / Samsung you might need to open the message, select options, cut the link, options again and enter the site. Each handset will vary!

If you are unable to connect to the service please check the following,

Do you have a wap enabled phone? (One that can receive pictures and can browse the internet, also referred to as a 3G phone or GPRS phone)

If you do, has your service provider activated wap browsing on your contract / pre pay phone. If not please call them to confirm you have been activated.

If both of the above have been done and you are still not able to connect there is a small chance the area you are in does not have a good GPRS signal or there could also be an error with your link. If this is the case please email us at help@mediadeck.co.uk and we will gladly check your settings and try our best to get you working.

Once you have connected you will see the following screen

Please feel free to browse around and have a look at the site. There will be new buttons appearing as the service is upgraded and improved one of our recent updates is Tell A Friend, if you click on this and enter your friends mobile number they will then receive a message telling them to send in a sms to the system, this is free to see if they like the system and try it out. For every 3 friends that use the system you will receive a £1.50 postal order at the end of the week.

Test the service, send yourself an sms

and see how quickly it arrives on your phone! You will need to enter the mobile phone number in the following format 44721111111 (remember the 44 but don't worry about adding in a + symbol, if you are sending an international sms there is no need to enter 09 eg for South Africa just put 27xxxxxxxxxx for America 1xxxxxxxxxxxx)

One thing we have also included is the chance to enter your addresses on the internet (using your computer)

why don't you enter the numbers you sms the most on the internet now , as this is a web based service we are unable to link to your address book on your phone, and you will see these numbers appear on your Mdeckport link when you open it on your phone. If you would then like to enter people individually at a later date you can do this on your phone again please enter in international format, drop the + or 09 and just enter the international number
